After Camino field guide

Your Camino finished.
What happens next?

Santiago is not the end of the logistics. It is where a new set of decisions starts: backpack, Compostela, recovery, sleep, the coast and the journey home. This is the practical layer for everything after the final arrow.

Stay in Santiago

The best bed is the one that makes the next 12 hours easier.

Cathedral atmosphere, exhausted legs and a 06:30 departure are three different accommodation problems. Choose the area before choosing the room.

Keep going

Maybe Santiago is not your ending.

Finisterre gives you the classic lighthouse ending. Muxía feels quieter and wilder. If sunset matters, give the coast a night instead of turning it into a rushed day trip.

06

Pilgrim gear

Buy less. Fix real problems.

Battery, rain, wet gear and feet. We keep the gear layer deliberately small because every “essential” eventually ends up on your back.
